meet the team

Chris, the Founder and Director of our company, has been passionate about plumbing since he began his career right after high school. Beyond work, he’s an avid fisherman, always eager to chat about his past adventures and plans for the next big catch.

Chris and Haley have four children and their beloved fur baby, Lulu, and he enjoys spending time with his family whenever he’s not out on the water. We’re proud to have him at the helm, leading with enthusiasm and expertise!

Haley has been an integral part of the team since she began working part-time, eventually stepping into a full-time role in May 2016. As our Office/Operations Manager, she oversees Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Admin/IT, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Haley enjoys spending time with her family and indulging in her love for arts and crafts. We’re lucky to have her managing the heart of our operations!

Johnny is starting his fourth year as an apprentice through Masterlink and has been a valued part of our team for over three years now. Dedicated to mastering his trade, he’s making great progress. When he’s not on the tools, Johnny enjoys hitting the gym and spending time socialising with friends.

We’re excited to see him continue to grow with us!

Tom joined our team after making the big move to Auckland at the end of 2022. With several years of experience in plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying under his belt, he recently passed all three of his exams with the PGDB – a huge achievement!

We’re thrilled to have Tom on board, and we’re excited for all the expertise and dedication he brings to the team.

Mascht has been with us since July 2019, bringing over 20 years of experience in plumbing and gasfitting, much of it within the commercial sector. His long-standing friendship with Chris, spanning more than 18 years, is a testament to the strong bond they share.

Outside of work, Mascht enjoys spending his free time rock hunting, mushroom picking, and fishing. We’re lucky to have him as part of our team!

Rochelle joined us in September 2023 and quickly became an integral part of the team. Recently returning from maternity leave, she brings not only fantastic administration skills but also a warm, friendly presence – she’s the voice you’ll hear when you call us! Since starting, Rochelle has picked up a surprising amount of knowledge about plumbing and is always eager to learn more. Outside of work, Rochelle enjoys spending quality time with her new little one, making candles, and socialising with friends. We’re thrilled to have her on board!

When Lulu’s in the office, she’s hard at work making sure we know who’s coming and going. She’s also a champion at keeping the lunch room crumb-free and spreading good vibes as our unofficial stress reliever. Lulu loves nothing more than greeting visitors, soaking up hugs, enjoying her walk breaks, and, of course, getting treats!

As Chris and Haley’s beloved fur baby, she’s a cherished member of our office family!

Connor joined us as our very first staff member in August 2017, starting his journey as an apprentice and coming close to full qualification after passing his PGDB exam. Friendly and full of life, Connor was like family to Chris and Haley, always checking what was in the fridge and bringing a warm, energetic presence to the team.

Our clients loved him, and he was known for his passion for the gym, fishing with the team, and riding his motorbike. Tragically, Connor passed away in April 2024, but he will forever be part of the MPAG family. RIP, Connor – we will miss you more than words can say. You’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.
